Man Shot And Killed In Rogers Park
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot to death late Monday in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side, police said.
About 11 p.m., the 36-year-old was walking on the sidewalk in the 7400 block of North Rogers Avenue when several males approached and opened fire, police said.
He was shot in the lower back and left shoulder and was taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounce dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
Area North detectives were conducting a homicide investigation.
