Chicago-Bound American Airlines Plane Slides Deployed At DFW Airport
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Emergency slides were deployed from an American Airlines plane to evacuate more than 140 passengers and crew at DFW Airport.
Three people suffered minor injuries, according to American Airlines.
Flight 1658 was about to take off from DFW, headed to O'Hare International Airport, when possible smoke in the cabin was detected.
The emergency exits were deployed as the MD-80 aircraft sat at gate A14.
