Bears Sign TE Kevin Greene

(CBS) -- The Chicago Bears signed tight end Kevin Greene to a one-year contract Wednesday, the team announced.

Greene spent parts of last season on the practice squads of the Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers after entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of USC.

The Bears waived injured tight end Brian Vogler, an undrafted rookie free agent from Alabama.
