Blackhawks' Phillip Danault To Miss 4 Months After Hip Surgery
(CBS) Blackhawks forward Phillip Danault is expected to miss about four months after undergoing left hip surgery Monday to repair a torn labrum, the team announced Tuesday. That timeline would have him returning in mid-December, several months into the new season.
The 22-year-old Danault appeared in two games for Chicago last November. He had 13 goals and 25 assists in 70 regular-season games at AHL Rockford last season.
Dr. Bryan Kelly performed the left hip arthroscopy in New York City.
