(CBS) — A 31-year-old South Bend, Indiana, man is being held on $5 million bond accused in the attempted murder and sexual assault of a 26-year-old Willowbrook woman.

The man charged in the Willowbrook home invasion and assault is 31-year-old Londale Madison of Indiana. He is accused in the brutal beating of a woman in her home over the weekend.

That woman has just had some facial surgery following the attack and her sister Sarah Tee has started a gofundme page to help.

“We’ve updated her on the status of it, and she just sits there and just cries. And says how thankful she is and how blessed that she is and how loved that she feels.”

Tee says her sister is getting better – day by day.

“She’s just so stinking strong. She deserves the world. And if I can do it by this website, with the support of our community, she deserves it all.”

The next step for Madison, the man charged, is extradition to Illinois.

Madison was arrested four years ago and did time on a burglary conviction.

He recently wrote on his Facebook page: “Some of u don’t know me because I been locked up for three years and now I’m back to show u exactly who I am.”
