Sheriff’s deputies searched the school and did not find a bomb, Hoffmeyer said. The DuPage County Bomb Squad also searched the building with canines before the “all clear” was given at 11:55 a.m.
Students will stay at Schilling until 2 p.m., when they will return to Young Elementary, according to a statement posted on Homer Community Consolidated School District 33C’s website.READ MORE: Chicago Weather: Most Locations To Remain Dry Overnight
