After Legal Skirmish, Riot Fest Begins
(CBS) -- A last-minute settlement saved Riot Fest from being shut down over the concerns of a local hospital.
On Friday -- the first day of the punk, rap and metal music event -- things seemed to be going okay, CBS 2's Roseanne Tellez reports.
Riot Fest organizers moved some entrances, reconfigured some stages and promised a clear pathway for patients of Saint Anthony Hospital, which is across from the event's new home in Douglas Park.
Traffic was brisk outside the hospital, but it was moving.
