(CBS) The Bears have re-signed quarterback David Fales to the practice squad, two days after they cut him from the active roster. Fales cleared waivers, allowing Chicago to keep him in the organization.

Fales, 24, was Chicago’s sixth-round pick in the 2014 draft out of San Jose State. He has never thrown a regular-season pass for the Bears and remains slotted behind Jimmy Clausen on the depth chart.
