Shooting Briefly Shuts Down Bishop Ford Lanes
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A truck driver was shot in the leg while driving on the Bishop Ford on Wednesday evening.
Illinois State Police confirm an unknown offender shot at the victim, who was struck in the leg.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on the inbound Ford near 131st Street.
Traffic was shut down for a short time, while police gathered evidence. As of 9:30, police remained on the scene, but traffic was moving.
The driver was transported to the hospital in good condition.
