Blackhawks Recall Forward Tanner Kero

(CBS) The Blackhawks have recalled 23-year-old forward Tanner Kero from Rockford, sending Vincent Hinostroza down to the AHL affiliate on Tuesday morning.

Kero scored six goals and added two assists in five games with the IceHogs. He was named AHL Player of the Week last week for his three goals in three games. He's expected to play center for the Blackhawks.

Hinostroza played in just four games for the Blackhawks this season, not recording a point during that time.

Having won four games in a row, the Blackhawks travel to Winnipeg on Thursday for a contest with the Jets.
