Former Bears Receiver Brandon Marshall 'Got Into It' With Jets Teammate

(CBS) Brandon Marshall, the former Bears receiver now with the New York Jets, admitted he "got into it" with a teammate after Sunday's 30-23 loss to New England.

Speaking about incidents with Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy on Showtime's "Inside The NFL," Marshall addressed an incident of his own from this past weekend's game.

"There's a lot of testosterone," Marshall said on the Showtime show. "I mean, you put so much into the week, you know you get disappointed and you get frustrated in those moments. This Sunday, I got into it with a teammate, but we got in the locker room, we talked it out and we love each other."

Marshall was traded from the Bears in March, with the Jets sending a fifth-round pick to Chicago.

In Chicago, Marshall had a noted incident similar to this. Last season after a loss to the Dolphins, Marshall was heard shouting at kicker Robbie Gould in the locker room. Teammates had to intervene.

One of the reasons the Bears parted ways with Marshall was because of chemistry friction he created.

"Going forward, we felt this was the best for us," Chicago general manager Ryan Pace said after trading Marshall to New York.

In 2015, Marshall has 41 catches and four touchdowns, helping the Jets to a 4-2 record on the season.
