(STMW) — A man was stabbed and critically wounded Thursday morning on a CTA Pink Line platform on the Southwest Side.

About 10:05 a.m., the 21-year-old man was stabbed in the chest, back and abdomen when a group of people got into a fight in the 2000 block of South California, according to Chicago Police. The group ran away after the stabbing.

The man was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
