Reward Offered After Aspiring Model Murdered In Englewood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Religious and community leaders announced a $5,000 reward this morning in the murder of a young aspiring model from Evanston who was shot to death in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood on Monday night.
Kaylyn Pryor was the winner of the 2015 Mario Tricoci "Make Me A Model" contest.
The finale for the event took place in late September.
Pryor, 20, was standing outside with a teenage boy in the 7300 block of South May about 6:20 p.m. when someone in a passing vehicle shot them, police said.
She was visiting her grandmother when she was shot.

Police said the shooting was possibly gang related, but that Pryor was not the intended target of the gunman.
Police did not know whether the teenager, who was wounded, had any gang affiliation.
