Families Reunited With Loved Ones Returning From Paris

(CBS) -- It was an emotional night Saturday at O'Hare Airport as families waited for loved ones to come home from Paris.

CBS 2's Audrina Bigos reports on one flight there were 24 7th and 8th graders who spent the last week in Paris. Their final night was filled with terror.

"It's really great to be home actually," said Graham Christensen. "I've been gone for a week and it was crazy."

For his mom, there are just no words. These parents have been on edge since they got word of the attacks.

"I was a little more concerned when I found out he was at the stadium, at the soccer game," said Kunal Jereth. "They heard the bombs at the game but didn't know what they were."

Fortunately, students were able to get on their scheduled flight with no major delays.

"He got to see the best that the world had to offer during the week and then he also got to see the worst," Jereth said.

For those who booked travel to Paris this week, airlines are allowing passengers to postpone or switch to another destination without penalty.
