Stores, Shoppers Ready For Black Friday Deals

(CBS) -- Black Friday is one of the biggest days of the year for retailers. A survey by Deloitte finds the average person will spend $369 this weekend alone.

You'll find some Black Friday merchandise on shelves at stores today, but you won't find the prices. At the Ford City J.C. Penney, $100 jackets on sale today for $40 will fall to $20. General manager Glen Mason says J.C. Penney is making Black Friday more than just low prices.

"As a company we're giving away $10,000 cash to ten customers on Black Friday," Mason said.

$90 fashion boots, $40 today will fall to $20 starting at 3 p.m. tomorrow.

At Target, clothing gets a serious markdown

"For the first time ever we're offering 40 percent on all apparel across the board," said Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder.

A Samsung 4k Smart TV under $800. An HD camera drone drops $100 from its already enticing $500 price tag.

Exclusive Black Friday merchandise gets put out overnight tonight for a 3 p.m. launch tomorrow at Penneys and a 6 p.m. door-busting debut at Target.
