CHICAGO (STMW) — A bicyclist was killed and a pedestrian was injured late Sunday when they were both struck by a vehicle in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.
The 55-year-old man was riding a bicycle when he was struck by the vehicle about 11:20 p.m. near South Kostner Avenue and West 14th Street, according to Chicago Police. The pedestrian was also taken to Mount Sinai, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
