Toys For Tots Falling Short On Donations

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Toys for Tots is concerned it won't be able to deliver gifts to all the children who asked for a toy this year.

The charity says it's tens of thousands of toys short to hand out to families in need this holiday.

You can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at several locations throughout the city and suburbs.

The U.S. Marine Corps program needs all donations by Dec. 16 to ensure the presents get delivered by Christmas.

The greatest need for toys is for kids two and under, and those between 10 and 13.
