Bulls Cut D-League Team Naming Contest To 3 Final Choices

(CBS) The Bulls have cut their contest for naming their new Development League team to three final choices.

They are the Great Lakes Bulls, the Heartland Bulls and the Windy City Bulls. Fans can vote on their favorite name from today through Dec. 22 at www.bulls.com/dleague. The results of that vote will be taken into consideration in the selection of the final team name.

The Bulls received more than 3,600 suggestions from all 50 states before whittling the list down. The winning name will be revealed in early 2016, the Bull said.

The Bulls' D-League team will begin play in 2016-'17 at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates.
