Holiday Shoppers Bundle Up To Score Bargains

(CBS) -- If you have some last-minute holiday shopping to do the chilly temperatures make it a little uncomfortable.

CBS 2's Audrina Bigos has more on how the cold is affecting "Super Saturday."

Shoppers bundled up with many wishing they took advantage of the warmer weather last weekend.

But if you're a holiday procrastinator, like many of us, you're in luck. Today is Super Saturday, the second-largest day for in-store sales. This day last year actually trumped Black Friday with more than 9 billion in sales.

This time around, the cold can't keep people away from the good deals.

"I've got thermal wear underneath my pants and my shirt and then a I put my sweatshirt on and then I've got my coat, scarf, hat and and gloves," said Jacquelynn Bazylewicz.

"I wore two pants, I have leggings under this and then I have a shirt under and then I have a sweatshirt and then a jacket and I'm still freezing," said Norma Serna.

As the temperatures drop tonight, the crowds could stay pretty big. Lots of stores are extending hours tonight and through the weekend.
