Reports: Blackhawks Place David Rundblad On Waivers
(CBS) The Blackhawks have placed defenseman David Rundblad on waivers, according to multiple reports.
The 25-year-old Rundblad has appeared in just nine games this season, logging two assists and a minus-2 rating. He hasn't played since Dec. 13.
If Rundblad clears waivers, he'll be sent to AHL Rockford. He could also be claimed by another team.
Late last June, Chicago signed Rundblad to a two-year deal with a cap hit of $1.05 million annually.
Earlier Monday, the Blackhawks called up defenseman Erik Gustafsson from Rockford.
