Man Killed By Snow Plow In Morton Grove
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Morton Grove police were investigating the death of an elderly man who was struck by a snow plow on Tuesday.
Police said a private snow plow operator was clearing a driveway at a home in the 9200 block of Ozark Street around 9:20 a.m., when the victim slipped and fell, and was hit by the plow.
The victim, 80-year-old Agostino Comella, died at the scene.
Police said it appears the driver didn't see Comella fall. Alcohol and drugs were not considered to be a factor in the accident, which remained under investigation Wednesday morning.
