Man Shot And Killed In University Village
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was found shot to death Tuesday evening in the University Village neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.
The 62-year-old man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head about 6:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Maxwell Street, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the death.
Police said the shooting might have been related to an earlier dispute he had with a neighbor.
Area Central detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
