Man Fatally Shot Inside Car In Brookfield
(CBS) -- Brookfield Police say a 33-year-old man was shot and killed while he was in his car just after noon.
It all happened on the north side of the village of Brookfield about a mile from Brookfield Zoo, says Police Chief James Episcopo. The 33-year-old Brookfield man was inside his car at Forest and Grant when he was shot through the driver's side window.
"All we know at this point is that a car pulled up, shots were fired. And the car fled the scene southbound from that location. We believe the car has left the area."

Chief Episcopo says the man was taken to Loyola Medical Center but he died of gunshot wounds.
Episcopo says the suspects are not believed to be in the area still.
Police say officers will be on duty at dismissal time at schools on the North Side of Brookfield.
