(CBS) — The Super Bowl is a huge day for Chicago area restaurants. Sports bars with big screen TVs and especially places that deliver pizza.

CBS 2’s Mike Puccinelli visited Connie’s Pizza in Bridgeport, where they expect to sell 3,000 pizzas for Super Bowl Sunday.

Owner Mike Stolfe says they have 45 delivery drivers for today and about 80 employees working. He says it’s their busiest delivery day.

“We just want everyone to know that we put so much passion into the dough, through the ingredients and to the trucks to make sure you got a hot pizza for your Super Bowl Sunday enjoyment,” Stolfe says.

You can watch the Super Bowl on CBS 2 with kickoff at 5:30 p.m.
