Police: Man Stabbed To Death In South Austin
(STMW) -- A 25-year-old man was stabbed to death in the South Austin neighborhood Tuesday evening on the West Side, according to Chicago Police.
About 5:45 p.m., he got into a fight with another person who stabbed him in the chest in the 5900 block of West Jackson, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office did not immediately confirm the fatality.
Investigators think the fight might have stemmed from a previous robbery. No one is in custody.
