7-Year-Old Boy Fatally Shoots Himself In Englewood
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 7-year-old boy fatally shot himself in his Englewood neighborhood home on the South Side.
Devon Lofton accidentally shot himself in the 6700 block of South Aberdeen Street at 3:50 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office and Chicago Police.
Devon, who lived on the same block, was taken to University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head where he was pronounced dead at 4:36 p.m., authorities said.
