Report: TE Josh Hill Visits Bears

(CBS) With Martellus Bennett moved out of Chicago last week, the Bears have found a potential addition to add depth.

The Bears hosted tight end Josh Hill at Halas Hall on Monday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Hill, 25, caught 16 passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns last season with the Saints, working in a reserve role behind Ben Watson. Hill, an Idaho State product, was added by a Saints front office that then included Bears general manager Ryan Pace.

Last week, the Bears re-signed tight ends Zach Miller and Rob Housler to their roster, then parted ways with Bennett on Wednesday, trading him along with a sixth-round pick to New England for a fourth-round pick.
