Girl, 14, Seriously Wounded In Greater Grand Crossing Neighborhood
(CBS) -- A 14-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.
Chicago Police say the responded to a call of the shooting shortly before 3:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Ingleside. Police say the girl was wounded in the chest and the Chicago Fire Department says she was transported to Comer Children's Hospital in serious condition.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
