On Monday, 12 students in the geometry and construction class at Buffalo Grove High School will build walls for the home.

Tuesday, 20 Rolling Meadows High School students will also build walls with community volunteers.

Jeff Bott, the head of the career technical education division at Buffalo Grove, calls it building for a cause and says the kids love it.

"They see that someone is going to directly gain from the work that they are doing in class," Bott says.

Together, students will construct 100 wall sections that will be transported by truck to the home site in Tennessee next month.
