(CBS) — A full school bus transporting students was involved in a two-vehicle accident on Thursday in Homer Glen.

The bus collided with a car around 3:30 p.m., and sustained significant damage, near Cedar Road and Victoria Crossing.

Lockport police say the incident occurred when the passenger car pulled in front of the school bus.

Both occupants of the car were transported to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, fire officials said.

From the school bus, the driver and two students were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Joliet.

All of the injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening.

The bus was driving students from Schilling School in Homer Glen.
