“I play hard-nosed linebacker,” Kwiatkoski said. “I like to hit, I like to be physical. But I’m also versatile.”

In making the move, the Bears dealt their 117th pick (fourth round) and 206th pick (sixth round) to the Rams.

Kwiatkoski,  6-foot-2, 243-pounder, was an All-Big 12 player with West Virginia. He recorded 86 tackles in 2015 and was the Mountaineers’ top defensive player.

“I feel like I bring versatility and linebacker instincts,” Kwiatkoski said.

The Bears made their fourth trade of the draft to take Kwiatkoski. At the time of their selection, they had two fourth-round selections still available, plus picks in the fifth, sixth and seventh round.
