(CBS) After registering a never-seen-before box score line in Sunday’s 4-3 loss in 13 innings to the Cubs, Nationals star Bryce Harper took a moment to help brighten a person’s day.

After boarding the team bus to leave Wrigley Field on Sunday evening, Harper then hopped out for a moment and gave a jar of money to a homeless woman on nearby Sheffield Avenue, according to a social media post by a woman who identified herself as a security worker. The story was then later confirmed by the Washington Post.
