CHICAGO (CBS) — Authorities say a man who’s been charged with two sexual assaults in Joliet and Channahon is also suspected in other assaults.

The Will County Sheriff’s office says investigators pieced together information from a woman who says she was sexually assaulted Saturday while jogging in a Channahon Township forest preserve with another assault in Joliet from a few days before.

Authorities arrested Miguel Luna for driving on a suspended license and say he then confessed to both assaults.

The attack in Channahon occurred on a trail on Frontage Road under Interstate 55. The Joliet attack happened on Wednesday near the Brandon Road locks and Route 6.

In addition to aggravated criminal sexual assault, aggravated battery and unlawful restraint charges, Illinois State Police are investigating whether Luna is responsible for other similar cases.
