CHICAGO (STMW) — A body was pulled from Lake Michigan Sunday afternoon near Loyola Beach in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.

The body of a male, whose age was not known, was pulled from the water just after 3 p.m. near the 1000 block of West Pratt, according to Chicago Police.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed the death, but did not release further details Sunday.

Area North detectives are investigating.
