(CBS) The debate regarding the best team in NBA history can cease.

After a record-breaking 73-win regular season, the Warriors were on the wrong end of the greatest collapse in NBA Finals history, blowing a 3-1 series lead and being left in shock after a 93-89 loss to LeBron James and the Cavaliers in Game 7 on Sunday night on their home court of Oracle Arena. For so long as the Warriors captivated the NBA this season and broke the 1995-’96 Bulls’ record of 72 wins, debate raged as to what team was the best ever.

Without a title, Golden State doesn’t have a trump card. And former Chicago Bulls forward Dennis Rodman was quick to remind everyone of this while also congratulating James and the Cavaliers.

Another member of those Bulls, guard Ron Harper, also chimed in.
