Bears Great Charles Tillman Retires From Football

By Chris Emma--

(CBS) It's the end of an era for one of the greatest players in Bears history, as cornerback Charles Tillman announced his retirement on Monday evening, marking the end of a 13-year NFL career.

Sticking to form, Tillman made his announcement in an entertaining video.

The 35-year-old Tillman finishes his career with 38 interceptions and 44 "Peanut Punch" forced fumbles. He played 12 seasons with the Bears and then 2015 with the Panthers, reaching the Super Bowl with each team.

Tillman's work also includes his Cornerstone Foundation, which has impacted the lives of thousands of critically and chronically ill children and their families.

Tillman will be remembered as arguably the greatest defensive back in Bears history.
