Seahawks' Michael Bennett Calls Bears' Jay Cutler The 'Worst Quarterback In The NFL'

(CBS) The unfiltered Bennett brothers -- Seahawks defensive lineman Michael and Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett, a former Bear -- have some harsh words for Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler.

Addressing Cutler in a well-done profile by ESPN.com feature writer Mina Kimes, Michael called Cutler the "worst quarterback in the NFL."

Martellus didn't go quite that far but did express his disdain.

"I'd be open and he'd throw into double coverage," Martellus told ESPN.com.

Martellus spent the past three seasons with the Bears before being traded to the Patriots in March. His second season with Cutler was a career year, as Bennett earned a Pro Bowl nod after making 90 catches for 916 yards and six touchdowns.

Battling injury and playing 11 games in 2015, Bennett had 53 catches for 439 yards and three touchdowns.

Cutler posted a career-best 92.3 passer rating in 2015. That ranked 16th in the NFL out of quarterbacks who attempted at least 200 passes. His 60.7 QBR rated 17th in the league.
