Man Robs Bank In Old Irving Park

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man robbed a Huntington Bank branch Thursday afternoon in the Old Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

About 3:25 p.m., the suspect walked up to a teller at the branch at 4012 N. Pulaski Rd., pulled out a plastic bag and demanded money, according to Chicago Police and the FBI. He then walked over to another teller and got more money, before leaving the bank, authorities said.

He did not show a weapon during the robbery, and no one was injured, police said.

The robber was thought to be in his 40s or early 50s, about 5-foot-4 with a thin build. He had a dark complexion and was wearing a red long-sleeve shirt, black sunglasses and jeans.

Anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
