(CBS) Former Cubs star pitcher Kerry Wood has further endeared himself to fans by voicing his displeasure with umpire Joe West, who ejected manager Joe Maddon in Chicago’s 4-1 victory at St. Louis on Monday night.

Wood shared a pair of West-related thoughts on Twitter, saying “enough of the #JoeShow” and adding that, “We all know he sucks.”

West drew Maddon’s ire in the ninth inning — and then vice versa — after Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks had his no-hitter broken up on a solo homer. As Aroldis Chapman warmed up in the bullpen, Cubs infielders set off for the mound to talk with Hendricks, but West intercepted them. This angered Maddon, who screamed at West and was kicked out. It was Maddon’s third ejection of the season.
