NAPERVILLE (CBS) — A man faces life-threatening injuries after being involved Monday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Naperville.

Naperville Police and Fire Departments responded to a call Monday at approximately 1:51 p.m. of a single vehicle crash involving a 2003 White Honda CBR motorcycle near Wehrli and Lisson Roads.

29-year-old Victor Torres, driver of the Honda CBR, was heading northbound on Wehrli Road toward Lisson Road, when he lost control and crashed, according to Naperville police.

Torres was transported to Edwards Hospital with life threatening injuries.

Wehrli Road was closed for approximately two hours, while members of the Naperville Traffic Unit, trained in accident investigation and reconstruction, investigated the crash.

The crash still remains under investigation.
