Bears Rule Out Eddie Goldman, Ka'Deem Carey For Dallas Game

By Chris Emma--

(CBS) The Bears have officially ruled out nose tackle Eddie Goldman and running back Ka'Deem Carey for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys.

Goldman (ankle) and Carey (hamstring) didn't travel with the team to Dallas. The two players were injured in Monday's loss to the Eagles and were listed as doubtful for the game.

Quarterback Jay Cutler, who's dealing with a thumb sprain, did travel with the team to Dallas. He's also listed as doubtful and is highly unlikely to play in the game. Backup Brian Hoyer projects to start at AT&T Stadium.

Bears coach John Fox announced a lengthy injury report on Friday at Halas Hall, which included several notable key players as questionable.

Receiver Alshon Jeffery, Willie Young, safety Adrian Amos, cornerback Bryce Callahan, cornerback Kyle Fuller, cornerback Tracy Porter, safety Chris Prosinski, tackle Bobby Massie, guard Josh Sitton and defensive lineman Will Sutton are all questionable to play Sunday.

A key player for an offense likely led by Hoyer, Jeffery stated that he's hopeful to play in Sunday's game.

The NFL's new injury-reporting policy eliminated the probable tag, meaning questionable is now the most optimistic label for the injury report.

Kickoff between the Bears and Cowboys comes at 7:30 p.m. CT in Arlington.
