Two Charged With Drug-Induced Homicide In Kaneville Man's Death

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two people have been charged with drug-induced homicide for the death of a 34-year-old west suburban man earlier this year.

About 2 p.m. April 23, authorities responded to an overdose at a home in the 46W500 block of Main Street in unincorporated Kaneville Township, according to the Kane County sheriff's office.

Richard Gregorie, 34, was not conscious or breathing when authorities arrived, according to the sheriff's office. Gregorie, who lived in the home, was taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva, where he was pronounced dead.

Sheriff's deputies, along with the DEA and Oak Park police, began investigating where Gregorie obtained the heroin.
