Obama Drops By Loop Polling Place To Vote Early
CHICAGO (CBS) -- In between fund-raising appointments, President Obama on Friday cast his ballot for November's election.
The president's limo pulled up to the Cook County Administration building shortly after 2 p.m., shutting down Dearborn Street between Washington and Madison for about 30 minutes.
The block was filled with Secret Service agents, who had to order people to move down the street as they quickly established a security perimeter.
Obama is in town all weekend for a variety of fund-raisers.
He is staying overnight at his home in Kenwood.
After casting his ballot, he was asked by a reporter, "Who did you vote for?"
He looked up with a big grin, but said nothing.
