Woman, Two Children Struck By Semi In Skokie
SKOKIE (CBS) -- A woman and two children were hit by a semi truck Friday afternoon in north suburban Skokie.
The three pedestrians were struck by the semi about 12:40 p.m. near Touhy Avenue and McCormick Boulevard in Skokie, according to Skokie Police Officer Eric Swaback.
All three were taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening, Swaback said. It was not immediately clear whether the driver would be cited.
Further details about the crash were not immediately available.
