Watch: Leonard Floyd Picks Up First Full Sack Of His Career

By Ryan Mayer--

(CBS Local) The Bears expected a lot out of outside linebacker Leonard Floyd when they took him with the ninth overall pick out of Georgia in this past April's NFL Draft. Floyd has had a bit of a slow start to his rookie season. He played in the first four games, recording 13 tackles and being credited with a half-sack against the Texans in the opener, but then missed the past two weeks due to a calf injury.

Floyd was back in the lineup Thursday night against the Packers at Lambeau Field and late in the second quarter, he picked up the first full sack of his young career.

It was a good effort from Floyd as he split two linemen, fell down, got back up and still was able to sack Rodgers. Bears fans hope to see a lot more of that in the coming years. The Packers went on to get a field goal on the drive to make it 6-3 at the halftime break.
