(CBS) In winning it all for a championship-starved fan base for the second time in his career Wednesday night, Cubs president of baseball operations Theo Epstein strengthened his case as one of the best executives baseball has ever seen.

Not long after the Cubs sealed an 8-7 win in 10 innings against the Indians in Game 7 of the World Series, Epstein put on a show in the clubhouse and back out on the field.
For starters, he joked that he’s taking a leave of absence for a month and will leave general manager and good friend Jed Hoyer in charge.
“I’m relinquishing my presidential duties,” Epstein said during an interview with CBS 2. “Jed is in charge. I’m going on a month-long bender.”

Then Epstein palled around with actor and fan Bill Murray during the celebration.
Then Epstein dropped an F-bomb on live TV (explicit language warning below).
