Protests Continue After Police Shooting Of Joshua Beal In Mt. Greenwood

CHICAGO (CBS) -- There was another protest Sunday afternoon over the recent fatal shooting of a man by Chicago Police on the city's Far South Side.

Several hundred people gathered and chanted the name of 25-year-old Joshua Beal, who was shot to death by police near 111th and Troy streets on Nov. 5th, after failing to drop a gun when confronted by a police sergeant after a road rage incident turned into a fight.

Beal and others had just left a funeral in several cars and were driving to their next destination when the incident occurred.

There were also some counter protesters on Sunday supporting police who chanted "Blue Lives Matter."

The circumstances of the shooting are still being investigated.
