Congressman Bobby Rush said Spike Lee was right to call Chicago ‘Chiraq’ and said it needs to become Chi-righteous.

Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky noted Davis’ forgiveness for the killers.

Javon Wilson’s older sister Khaliyah, said she loved her brother, even though he was irritating. She said he was a gentleman, and then paused and added, sometimes.

She said she could never stay mad at him for long though, because he was so funny.

Congressman Davis said at the end of the service that the nation hasn’t found the will to stop the flow of guns into the inner cities and children have not been taught enough self-respect.
