4 Wounded Thursday In Chicago Shootings
CHICAGO (CBS) -- At least four men were shot in separate attacks Thursday on the South and West sides of Chicago.
Just after 10 p.m., a car pulled up to a 30-year-old man's vehicle as he was driving in the 1800 block of South Pulaski in Lawndale and opened fire, hitting him in the left arm, according to Chicago Police. The man kept driving to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
About 7:20 p.m., a 23-year-old man was sitting in traffic in near 79th and Halsted streets in the Gresham neighborhood when he heard gunfire and realized he'd been hit in the right leg, police said. He took himself to Trinity Hospital in good condition.
Shortly before 7 p.m., a 25-year-old was walking in the 1200 block of West 106th Street in Washington Heights when someone in a black minivan shot him in the buttocks, police said. He was taken in good condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Thursday's first shooting happened about 1:45 a.m. in Gage Park, where someone walked out of a gangway and shot an 18-year-old man in the lower back as he drove north in the 5700 block of South Artesian, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai in serious condition.
Three men were shot in the city on Wednesday, one fatally.
