VIDEO: Suspects Wanted In Hinsdale Jewelry Store Robbery

HINSDALE (CBS) -- Armed robbers stormed a suburban jewelry store Friday morning and beat at least one employee before fleeing with merchandise, police say.

Three armed suspects -- black males between 20 and 30 years old wearing masks and hoodies -- entered Razny Jewelers in Hinsdale around 10 a.m. and ransacked display cases. At one point, a store employee was tackled and beaten with a gun.

Police say the suspects ran out to the back alley, got into a blue Lexus SUV with Michigan license plates and then drove off. There may be a fourth suspect who was waiting outside the store with the getaway car, police say.

"I was a little freaked out. Well, more than a little freaked out. We locked our door from the inside," Erica Loncki, who works next door, tells CBS 2's Audrina Bigos.

Hinsdale police released surveillance images in hopes of tracking down the suspects. Police won't disclose the value of the jewelry that was stolen.

Employees harmed during the incident had minor injuries and are expected to be OK.
